In the coming months, The Open Group will be issuing digital badges, known as Open Badges, for all of The Open Group Certification Programs. These web-enabled badges will allow everyone with an Open Group certification, to clearly, more simply, and consistently promote their Open Group credentials online.

As another new year begins, I would like to wish our members and The Open Group community a happy, healthy and prosperous 2017! It’s been nearly 15 months since I transitioned into my new role as the CEO of The Open Group, and I can’t believe how quickly that time has gone.

They billed it as the answer to “How to run IT like a business.” At the same time, our Enterprise Architecture team at SKF was supporting the rollout of a major SAP initiative.
